Edit Just One Thing: Meet the Object Editor

Change the wording on a finished design, swap the chair, erase the lamp — without touching anything else. The new Object Editor lets you click any part of an image and edit only that part.

You generate the perfect design… except the banner says "SAMANTHA" and your customer's name is "MOMMY". Until now your options were: regenerate and pray, or open a photo editor and fake it. Today there's a third way.

The Object Editor is a new workspace that treats your image like a set of editable parts. Click the thing you want to change. Change it. Everything else stays exactly as it is.

Start three ways

Open Object Editor from the top navigation and bring in an image however suits you: generate one from a prompt right there, upload a PNG or JPG, or pull in something you've already made from Your Gallery.

Click the part you want to edit

Hit Find editable areas and the AI maps your image into clickable regions — headline text, subjects, objects, the background. Hover to see what's what, click to select. Missed a spot? Draw your own box, or paint one with the brush tool.

Then the edit bar appears next to your selection with four moves:

  • Replace — describe what should be there instead: "a blue velvet armchair", "a golden retriever puppy"
  • Remove — erase it and let the background fill in naturally
  • Restyle — keep the shape, change the surface: watercolour, glossy 3D, flat vector, neon glow and more
  • Edit Text — the time-saver. The AI reads the existing text; you type the replacement. The original font, size, colour, and lighting stay put — only the words change

Need to steer the look? Attach up to three reference images to any edit and the AI borrows their palette, texture, or props for that one change.

Compare, then commit

Every edit can generate up to three variants. Drag the before/after slider to check exactly what changed, then Set as canvas on the winner.

Nothing is ever lost

Every version lands on a forking history — click back to any earlier state and branch a different direction from it. Every version you keep can be starred to Your Gallery or downloaded, same as anywhere else on the platform.

What it costs

Finding editable areas costs 1 credit; each edit variant costs the same as a normal generation with your chosen model. Simple as that.

Head to Object Editor in the nav and try the name-swap trick first — it's the fastest way to feel the difference.
